2023 Proposed Changes to CodingCat.dev

The goal with CodingCatDev has first and foremost been to help others learn. Being able to run the site full time is a secondary goal of mine. I believe that because of difficulty of creating courses, along with the membership model this has not been working well.

2023 Business Changes

• Move from LLC to Non-Profit 501c3
• Talk with Lawyer about the change
• Make everything OSS, including all discussions and decisions

2023 Technical Changes

• Move to GitHub as CMS
• Svelte Frontend
• Write in MDSveX
• Auto Uploads for YouTube (Appwrite storage bucket?)
• Cloudinary for photos or Github decision
• Hosting Provider Decision

2023 Design Changes

• Update Branding
• Update Design System (CatPack?)

Something else to consider is all of the automation that we should add in as well with publishing. Maybe there will be a better way to include social updates when a course/tutorial is uploaded. Right now this is done via RSS feed to socialbee.io
