Will 5.12.1.0 be marked as Production or Development? I've noticed in the past you've had Development firmwares as the 'recommended' one (the version that this PR supersedes is called development in the release notes) and hence the one that the viewer updates devices to. I feel like if you're not happy to call a firmware version 'production' you shouldn't be pushing it to people's devices? Or at least if you are pushing it out it should come with a warning before installation that it may cause issues. We've had problems in the past where customers have updated their cameras to development firmware that we haven't supported and it has broken our software. |
