Container Mods

I installed Code Server and spent 2 days looking everywhere I could on the internet to find a way to get Python installed. Finally came across this discussion on Reddit

This led me to the Linux Container Mods page and in 5 seconds, my issue was fixed. Maybe I'm just not smart enough, but why isn't this easier to find?

I think documenting how Docker or APT works is out of scope, although I am surprised python3 is not available already in the base image.

Oh unless you mean why do we not link to this mods page? That is a third party project and image, we are not involved. "Docker mods" seem to be a thing invented by the linuxserver folks for the images they maintain; this is actually the first time I have heard of them.
