Summary

Follow-up to #29671

React uses eval with React Server Components to create fake stacks (e.g. to reconstruct Server stacks). In CSP environments, eval may not be available unless unsafe-eval is set.

We already degraded gracefully without eval without restoring the function name. We can restore the function name though. Usually we use {[name]: (_) => _()} but that is badly minified by Closure. The usual trick to use bind produces bad names though e.g. function a() {} would now have the name Object.a.

Instead we define the name on the function. This doesn't work everywhere either. This should be acceptable since we're already in fallback mode and try-catch in case of even more misconfigured environments.

Leaving this here mostly as an interesting observation. When we serialize errors in prod we scrub all sensitive information and say that the digest should be used instead to find the original errors. However, digest is produced from onError which only triggers on thrown errors not errors we pass as props.
