+The server running the self-hosted Enterprise edition requires a connection to the NetBird license service at `license.netbird.io`. Besides validating the license key, the server shares the following information about the installation:

+- Installation UUID, generated randomly on first start
+- Reporter ID, the MAC address of the management host or container's network interface
+- NetBird version and server uptime
+- Usage counters such as the number of accounts, active peers, active users, policies, posture checks, and which features are enabled

+Only the aggregate counters above are included. No individual peer, user, network, or traffic records, no identifiers other than the ones listed, and no IP address or platform data are sent. The counters are part of the license validation call and cannot be disabled separately.
