feature request: open file with default program, when double click the file in sourcegit

I would like to open the file with my default program when double click the file.

Currently nothing happens when I double click it.
Sourcetree has the that feature.
Now you have to reveal the file explorer and then double click the file.

You can use hotkey 'Ctrl+O' or 'Open' context menu entry of selected file

Nothing happens with ctrl+O.
and when I right click the file I have these options:

When I press open with, then it opens the file in my default app but as the file looked like for that commit.
I would like to open the file as it now in my local repository

I've pushed a new commit that adds a new command palette Open File to open repo's file with default editor. You can download the latest CI build from GitHub Action.

It still show how the file looked like at the commit you opened it from.

If if make changes to the opened file, then the changes are not shown in git.

I want to open the file as it is in my current repository and not a reference to the commit it was opened from
