Summary

Add a toast UI for notifying customers about amazon-q's sunset

image

Files

  • plugin/src/software/aws/toolkits/eclipse/amazonq/util/KiroSunsetNotification.java — new class with the Dismiss / Learn more buttons.
  • plugin/src/software/aws/toolkits/eclipse/amazonq/util/Constants.java — title, body, URL, and dismissal-key strings.
  • plugin/src/software/aws/toolkits/eclipse/amazonq/lsp/LspStartupActivity.java — schedules showKiroSunsetNotification() on the UI thread during post-startup.

feat(notifications): add one-time Kiro sunset toast on startup
d7c6c02
Shows a sticky Mylyn notification popup once on plugin startup with
Dismiss and Learn more actions. Learn more opens https://kiro.dev in
the external browser. Dismissal is persisted in the plugin store so
the toast does not reappear on subsequent launches.

Summary
Add a toast UI for notifying customers about amazon-q's sunset
image
Files
  • plugin/src/software/aws/toolkits/eclipse/amazonq/util/KiroSunsetNotification.java — new class with the Dismiss / Learn more buttons.
  • plugin/src/software/aws/toolkits/eclipse/amazonq/util/Constants.java — title, body, URL, and dismissal-key strings.
  • plugin/src/software/aws/toolkits/eclipse/amazonq/lsp/LspStartupActivity.java — schedules showKiroSunsetNotification() on the UI thread during post-startup.

feat(notifications): add one-time Kiro sunset toast on startup

Shows a sticky Mylyn notification popup once on plugin startup with
Dismiss and Learn more actions. Learn more opens https://kiro.dev in
the external browser. Dismissal is persisted in the plugin store so
the toast does not reappear on subsequent launches.
