MU8

Android/Kotlin Marvel sample app created during the Architect Coders program.

This repository is included in my public portfolio as evidence of Android architecture practice, collaboration, and testing in a multi-module codebase. It is a learning project, not client work.

Project Context

MU8 was developed as part of the Architect Coders program by Antonio Leiva. The app explores Marvel content such as characters, comics, and events while applying layered Android architecture and team-based delivery through issue branches.

Architecture

  • presentation: Android UI, Activities, ViewModels, adapters, data binding, UI tests, and dependency wiring.
  • domain: use cases, repository contracts, domain models, and business-facing abstractions.
  • data: Retrofit services, Room persistence, entities, DAOs, mappers, and repository implementations.
  • buildSrc: centralized dependency/version declarations.

MU8

Android/Kotlin Marvel sample app created during the Architect Coders program.

This repository is included in my public portfolio as evidence of Android architecture practice, collaboration, and testing in a multi-module codebase. It is a learning project, not client work.

Project Context

MU8 was developed as part of the Architect Coders program by Antonio Leiva. The app explores Marvel content such as characters, comics, and events while applying layered Android architecture and team-based delivery through issue branches.

Architecture

  • presentation: Android UI, Activities, ViewModels, adapters, data binding, UI tests, and dependency wiring.
  • domain: use cases, repository contracts, domain models, and business-facing abstractions.
  • data: Retrofit services, Room persistence, entities, DAOs, mappers, and repository implementations.
  • buildSrc: centralized dependency/version declarations.

Notes

This project uses an older Android stack from the time of the course. It is valuable as architecture and collaboration evidence, not as a current dependency baseline.
