Long prompt overflows the bottom of the screen

If my session already has many messages, such that the prompt entry is near the bottom of the screen, typing a long, multi-line prompt ends up overflowing the visible area and you can't see what you are typing.

Same root cause as your other codex reports: with the local echo overlay buffering keystrokes, a long prompt existed only as a browser-side overlay pinned near one row, and codex never received the text, so its composer never grew or rewrapped. Near the bottom of the screen it simply ran out of visible area.

Fixed in v1.12.2: codex sessions use plain PTY echo now, so the real codex composer receives every keystroke, grows as your prompt wraps, and scrolls the transcript up to stay visible. Verified with a ~550 character prompt typed into a session with existing history: all of it renders and the cursor stays in view.

Update: #240 (just merged) adds predictive write-through echo for Codex. Long prompts were part of why buffering had to go in 1.12.2: the composer only grows when Codex actually receives the keystrokes. Keys now stream out immediately, and the new predictive overlay deliberately pauses on wrapped continuation lines (real echo takes over there), so nothing is ever painted past the composer edge. The E2E retest types past the composer width and asserts the content is exact with no ghost glyphs.

@DodgyBadger ships in the next release; a retest with your usual long prompts would be much appreciated.
