The Windows accessibility worker enumerates every accessible app before it begins reading the captured window. On the tested machine, that enumeration exceeded the one-second startup guard, so the worker was killed and screenshots lost their accessibility metadata.

Use the exact foreground accessibility app while T3 is hidden, verify its process ID, and keep the existing title and bounds matching. The Windows capture fixtures now exercise the foreground lookup instead of the removed app enumeration.

Tested with:

  • vp test run apps/desktop/src/windowCapture/WindowCaptureAccessibilityProcess.test.ts apps/desktop/src/windowCapture/DesktopWindowCapture.test.ts
  • vp run --filter @t3tools/desktop typecheck
  • Live Windows capture from Notepad, which now exposes View accessibility data

Built with gpt-5.6-sol using the Codex harness in T3 Code.

The Windows accessibility worker enumerates every accessible app before it begins reading the captured window. On the tested machine, that enumeration exceeded the one-second startup guard, so the worker was killed and screenshots lost their accessibility metadata.
Use the exact foreground accessibility app while T3 is hidden, verify its process ID, and keep the existing title and bounds matching. The Windows capture fixtures now exercise the foreground lookup instead of the removed app enumeration.
Tested with:
  • vp test run apps/desktop/src/windowCapture/WindowCaptureAccessibilityProcess.test.ts apps/desktop/src/windowCapture/DesktopWindowCapture.test.ts
  • vp run --filter @t3tools/desktop typecheck
  • Live Windows capture from Notepad, which now exposes View accessibility data
Built with gpt-5.6-sol using the Codex harness in T3 Code.
