RGB->RBG

I'm using a 2.5mm pitch LED panel and I need to swap the RGB to RBG due to the wiring being different on those boards. Blue and green need to be swapped, is that an option to get worked into the control panel? Or can I edit a config file? Under the display tab, you can check the invert colors option, but it just washes the LED white.

You should be able to manually add "led-rgb-sequence":RBG to your display config via the config editor tab. I haven't tried it myself but let me know how it goes. Also, what panel is it?

I'm likely messing this up, but I keep getting Invalid JSON

Invalid JSON: JSON Parse error: Unable to parse JSON string

try the buttons validate json and format json at the top, they'll tell you what's wrong. Also make sure the RGB is capital, apparently that matters. I tried it on mine and couldn't break it as RBG so its possible it's not getting passed correctly

Same error. Saying there's something wrong with line 1 if I put it into JSON Lint. It's not something that can be automatically fixed through their service. Just to make sure, this is going in to the Config.json under the config editor tab. I only have config and config_secrets available to edit.

Been working on it through some trial and error. This is what is currently in the config.json that validates. This also runs on the Matrix.

As soon as I add the RGB line it gives me this

Invalid JSON: JSON Parse error: Expected '}'

No matter where I put that closing bracket it errors.

Can you use the default config.json from the github repo without your changes to baseline it?

I get the below error

This happens as soon as I close the quotations after sequence and doesn't clear

If I remove the LED line, all is good. it immediately validates and gives the green check box.

Just because I know a lot gets lost in all this, I really appreciate you taking the time to work on this issue. This is a pretty awesome project.

From what you are posting after you enter your RGB line the very next line needs to be the "}" and possibly one more. you need to close the { on display and { on hardware. It can be tricky and Chuck has put an excellent json validation tool in the web GUI on the Configuration Editor tab. Just scroll down....make the changes the click the validate button at the top. The one under is for the secrets json. Don't get confused.

Through a lot of trial and error, learning some basic json coding along the way, the code is in and validates and is saved. JSON code is super finicky is the long and short of it. I had spaces and gaps where I shouldn't have. However,

Pi Rebooted, the colors are the same, blue and green still are not flipped.

I got it working. It needed underscores not dashes. Adding as a line to the default config template to make it easier in the future.
