What this repository contains (three divisions)

1. Software body (cmd/, internal/, exported binaries)

   • cmd/mediad — daemon: REST health+metrics+dashboard, task/collect/send/accounts REST + dashboard.
   • cmd/mediactl — CLI: collectors, live monitor, DM broadcast, trace run, accounts, export, webhook, netcapture, toolbox (encrypt/stylize/wechat-multi), self-update, adapt harness, task ops.
   • cmd/mediad-mcp — MCP server (stdio, 20 tools) exposing the same capabilities as tool calls.
   • internal/collect — contract-driven collection engine (search/comments/replies/users/group/video/collects/im-unread).
   • internal/platforms, internal/live — platform adapters: douyin/kuaishou/xhs; live monitoring with pluggable decoders (douyin protobuf, kuaishou/xhs gunzip+base64 JSON).
   • internal/tasks — DM broadcast orchestration (templates, delay, send caps, retry).
   • internal/trace — probabilistic trace/engagement engine (device-equalized, adb executor; flows: douyin + shipinhao).
   • internal/accounts — multi-account pool (cookies/proxy/UA, Netscape/JSON import/export).
   • internal/datacenter — lead data hub (dedup, cap, keyword filter, webhook push w/ retry, CSV export).
   • internal/selfupdate — update skeleton (manifest check + SHA256 download to data/updates/).
   • internal/netcapture — network-capture tool (session + HAR export).
   • internal/adb — Android device control over the ADB protocol (shell, screencap, input, ui dump).
   • internal/vision — GUI visual-agent layer (provider abstraction, flow-script distilling; frozen this phase).

2. Adaptation harness (adapt/) — fast version-adaptation machinery. Contracts as data, canary goldens, fixtures, agent playbook, drift reports. See docs/HARNESS.md. Also driven by GitHub Actions (canary.yml).

3. Open-source monitoring (upstream/ + docs/UPSTREAM.md) — pinned third-party ecosystem radar: pointer registry (submodules/git pins), watcher workflow, swap-test bench. Version-adaptation early-warning sensors.

Quick reference (automation)

• Run offline canary: make adapt-offline (or mediactl adapt canary --offline)
