In this tutorial we will make a game that will start out based on the 1980 Williams arcade game Defender. But we will take suggestions from the participants on how we would like to make our game unique. This project will evolve each week based on our progress and where the participants want to take it.

The Original Story

Nasty aliens are coming to our planet and capturing our people. Once they take them to their mother-ship, the people are mutated and join in on the alien invasion. (Space Zombies?) You must fly your ship to defend the people on the ground from the attacking aliens.
