Closing as superseded by the protected branch and draft #360. Swapping one decorative folder emoji for another is not a portable, measurable accessibility improvement because glyphs vary by platform. Existing empty-state semantics and icon hiding are already present; #360 owns deterministic post-#363 visual/readability work with browser evidence. No stale evidence is reused.

Closing this stale duplicate because its child-empty-directory icon requires an additional newDirectoryStream enumeration per directory during rendering and silently swallows probe failures. That is a real filesystem-I/O regression for a decorative state that can become stale immediately after the check. Preserve the zero-extra-I/O current-page empty-state improvement in #385 instead of pre-scanning every child.
