Add Configurable Log Level

Description

Allow operators to configure application log verbosity without modifying source code.

Acceptance Criteria

Supported log levels are documented.

Configuration can be supplied through the existing configuration mechanism.

Invalid log levels are rejected.

Production defaults remain appropriate.

Hello Maintainer, I’d like to work on this issue.
I’ve read through the issue and traced the relevant logic in the codebase, so I have a clear picture of where the change needs to sit and what it touches elsewhere. My plan is to keep the fix scoped to the root cause rather than patching the surface, and to cover it with a test so the behaviour stays locked in.
