Provide an optional structured logging format suitable for ingestion by log aggregation systems.

Acceptance Criteria

JSON-formatted logs can be enabled through configuration.

Log records contain consistent fields.

Error information remains machine-readable.

Secrets and credentials are excluded.

Hello Maintainer, I’d like to work on this issue.
I’ve read through the issue and traced the relevant logic in the codebase, so I have a clear picture of where the change needs to sit and what it touches elsewhere.
