What can be done with your idea?

CP Course generation mode that will detect windrows and only generate courses over the windrows. This avoids the general 'fieldwork' job from being used, which at a 2.5m width, covers every square inch of the field. Instead the generator would search for two pattern styles of windows on the ground. Headlands (continuous outer rings) and then parallel drops.

For example bailing contracts have two headland rows, then parallel N/S rows. The generator would locate the ground product headlands, create work wps around the two outer rows, then detect the parallel windrow tracks and create work waypoints there. On larger fields or fields where you are bailing straw swaths from combines this could potentially save HOURS of fieldwork coverage.

I am opening this so that I can reference a PR for it in order to have a discussion.

If applicable, how would the user interface look like for this enhancement?

Just a Job Type when doing generation. It would only appear if a bailer was attached to the current vehicle

Is there an alternative?

I mean sure; you can roll your bailer over every square inch of the field.
