Bangs! Extension

Bangs! is a Chrome extension that allows you to use bang commands at the start or end of your Google searches for quick redirects to popular sites.

Usage

Simply add a bang command to your search query:

  • At the start: !yt cute cats
  • At the end: cute cats !yt

Both will redirect to a YouTube search for "cute cats".

Installation

  1. Download the extension from the Chrome Web Store (COMING SOON)
  2. Download the extension via git clone https://github.com/devoidsloth/bangs-extension.git
  3. Open Chrome and navigate to chrome://extensions
  4. Enable "Developer mode" in the top right corner
  5. Click "Load unpacked."
  6. Select the folder where you downloaded the extension
  7. Click on the extension icon to view usage instructions

Privacy

This extension does not collect or store any user data. It simply redirects searches based on the bang command used.
