I work as a Principal Researcher for Research Community Building in the Tools, Practices and Systems Programme at the Alan Turing Institute.

I'm the leading the Advancing Biomedical Data Science Careers Project and co-organiser of the Clinical AI Interest Group.

I'm also the Principal Investigator of the FAIR Phytolith Project.

I'm a steering committee member of The Turing Way and on the Book Dash Working Group.

I'm on the Hidden REF Committee.

🔭 I’m currently working on:

  • Professionalisation and capacity building projects about diverse data science roles.
  • FAIR data implementation through community building and training for FAIR data management.
  • Turing way chapters about research community management.

🌱 I’m currently learning to get better at R.

Hi there 👋 I'm Emma.
I work as a Principal Researcher for Research Community Building in the Tools, Practices and Systems Programme at the Alan Turing Institute.
I'm the leading the Advancing Biomedical Data Science Careers Project and co-organiser of the Clinical AI Interest Group.
I'm also the Principal Investigator of the FAIR Phytolith Project.
I'm a steering committee member of The Turing Way and on the Book Dash Working Group.
I'm on the Hidden REF Committee.
🔭 I’m currently working on:
  • Professionalisation and capacity building projects about diverse data science roles.
  • FAIR data implementation through community building and training for FAIR data management.
