If not, I will probably just fork and rename this -- it's a pretty useful tool for hacking on Elements transactions and I'd like to bring it up to date with rust-elements and add some Simplicity support.

I am going to fork this and rename it to hal-simplicity. Happy to merge back in if you decide we want to go this way -- though simplicity integration means I'm going to have to do a huge MSRV bump which you may not be happy with.

I tried to transfer ownership and it says

You don’t have the permission to create public repositories on ElementsProject

Maybe you have to give me repo access temporarily and then take it away again.
