Fortis takes a decentralized, hub-and-spoke approach to personal security. A central Rust daemon (fortis-agent) runs locally on your machine, managing encrypted data and exposing local APIs (REST, Unix IPC, gRPC). Native clients communicate exclusively with this daemon.
