Gilad Schrift

Neuroscience PhD candidate at the Sagol School of Neuroscience, Tel Aviv University. I design and run human-participant experiments in immersive environments and build the systems they run on. Special interest in brain-computer interfaces.

Special interest in brain-computer interfaces. In practice, that means we take EEG signals, perform online preprocessing, decode the signal into the desired command, and provide real-time feedback in Unity. Most of my work sits at the point where an offline decoder must become reliable for online control.

Current work

Closed-loop BCI control of a virtual supernumerary limb — motor-imagery decoding (Riemannian tangent space + FGDA) driving a third arm in AR.

AR-based motor skill learning — a Meta Quest 3 passthrough application that replays personalized first-person motor tapping sequences onto the user's own hands, synchronized with haptic glove stimulation.

Gilad Schrift

Neuroscience PhD candidate at the Sagol School of Neuroscience, Tel Aviv University. I design and run human-participant experiments in immersive environments and build the systems they run on. Special interest in brain-computer interfaces.

Special interest in brain-computer interfaces. In practice, that means we take EEG signals, perform online preprocessing, decode the signal into the desired command, and provide real-time feedback in Unity. Most of my work sits at the point where an offline decoder must become reliable for online control.

Current work

Closed-loop BCI control of a virtual supernumerary limb — motor-imagery decoding (Riemannian tangent space + FGDA) driving a third arm in AR.

AR-based motor skill learning — a Meta Quest 3 passthrough application that replays personalized first-person motor tapping sequences onto the user's own hands, synchronized with haptic glove stimulation.
