Summary

  • inspect existing clipboard contents when Kite launches or becomes active
  • consume each pasteboard change once and keep confirmation enabled by default
  • reject ordinary text and malformed URLs while accepting supported download protocols
  • append newly detected links to an already-open New Download sheet without overwriting edits

Validation

  • swift test (23 tests passed)
  • ./script/build_and_run.sh --verify
  • live macOS UI: verified launch detection, focus detection, unchanged-content deduplication, and ordinary-text rejection

Safety

  • no download was submitted during UI verification
  • automatic capture remains configurable in Settings, with confirmation enabled by default
