Summary

  • show byte-weighted active download progress and live download speed in the macOS menu bar
  • replace the generic status symbol with a vertically centered monochrome Kite K/download mark
  • regenerate the application icon around the K/download identity with transparent macOS corners
  • add coverage for active, idle, and unknown-length download summaries

Validation

  • swift test (26 tests)
  • ./script/build_and_run.sh --verify
  • git diff --check origin/main...HEAD
  • real app launch and rendered UI inspection
