The alternatives page sends self-hosting readers to lfs-test-server, whose own
README says it "is not in a production ready state". This points them at the
maintained implementations instead: LFSX, rudolfs and giftless.
Disclosure: I maintain LFSX. Happy to drop it and keep only rudolfs and
giftless if you would rather not link a project of mine.
