Environment Variables Required

Create a .env file in the root directory:

Running the Application

# Install dependencies
npm install
# Development mode (with auto-reload)
npm run dev

Express App Configuration (src/app.js)

• CORS: Enabled for specified origins with credentials
• Request Size Limits: JSON and URL-encoded requests limited to 16KB
• Static Files: Public folder serves static assets
• Cookie Management: Enabled for session handling

Database Connection (src/db/db.js)

• Connection String: ${MONGO_URI}/MediaSphere
• Error Handling: Graceful error logging with process exit on failure
• Connection Logging: Displays MongoDB host information on successful connection

AsyncHandler (src/utils/asyncHandler.js)

Wrapper function for handling async route handlers and catching errors automatically.
