I've noticed that app currently doesn't remain working while compressing/converting a video. It straight up loses the file process and doesn't display any error or any option to resume the compression. Even the device going to idle to lock screen kills the process. My device is a One Plus CE 4 with OxygenOS 16, it is known for aggressive battery optimisations but I've allowed Compressor to be allowed Unrestricted background access.
If possible please consider adding a mode which allows the compressor to remain active in the background, maybe via a persistent notification (that also shows progress if possible) that may help in keeping the process alive.
