About Me 👨🏻‍💻

I'm a Palaeobiologist examining the macroecological and macroevolutionary history of reef-building organisms 🪸 by integrating interdisciplinary tools 🛠️ and sources of information 🗂️, such as ecological modelling 📈, Earth system modelling 🌍, and fossil occurrence datasets 🦴. An additional significant theme of my research is evaluating the influence of data incompleteness on our perceptions of the geological past 🧩.

  • 🔭 I’m currently working on investigating the drivers of marine biodiversity hotspots throughout the Cenozoic and reconstructing their evolutionary history.

About Me 👨🏻‍💻
I'm a Palaeobiologist examining the macroecological and macroevolutionary history of reef-building organisms 🪸 by integrating interdisciplinary tools 🛠️ and sources of information 🗂️, such as ecological modelling 📈, Earth system modelling 🌍, and fossil occurrence datasets 🦴. An additional significant theme of my research is evaluating the influence of data incompleteness on our perceptions of the geological past 🧩.
  • 🔭 I’m currently working on investigating the drivers of marine biodiversity hotspots throughout the Cenozoic and reconstructing their evolutionary history.
  • 🌱 I’m currently learning more about developing SQL databases and APIs.
  • 👯 I’m looking to collaborate on developing software toolkits and resources for the palaeobiological community.
  • 🤔 I’m looking for help with securing long-term funding for software toolkits and open-access databases.
