Description

Fix stream scaling, xdg stop button and runtime mode changes via flow:

  • On first init, replace logical dimensions with physical dimensions
    reported by PipeWire; this fixes display scaling. Keep static copy
    of logical dimensions for comparison with new values after a reinit,
    and track state changes using atomics for thread safety.
  • On stream pause, trigger reinit to kick off fresh dimension checks.
    This is helpful for mutter in particular, as it seems to destroy
    the PipeWire session from the compositor side after a mode change.
  • Compare previous logical width/height after reinit; if resolution
    did not change, assume that the user paused and interrupt the stream;
    this fixes the xdg stop notification icon.

  • Compare previous logical width/height after reinit; if resolution
    did not change, assume that the user paused and interrupt the stream;
    this fixes the xdg stop notification icon.

Fix stream scaling, xdg stop button and runtime mode changes via flow:
* On first init, replace logical dimensions with physical dimensions
reported by PipeWire; this fixes display scaling. Keep static copy
of logical dimensions for comparison with new values after a reinit,
and track state changes using atomics for thread safety.
* On stream pause, trigger reinit to kick off fresh dimension checks.
This is helpful for mutter in particular, as it seems to destroy
the PipeWire session from the compositor side after a mode change.
* Compare previous logical width/height after reinit; if resolution
did not change, assume that the user paused and interrupt the stream;
this fixes the xdg stop notification icon.

  • Compare previous logical width/height after reinit; if resolution
    did not change, assume that the user paused and interrupt the stream;
    this fixes the xdg stop notification icon.
