Blabsy: Switching eID Wallet user does not update logged-in session — previous user remains active #1015

Description

@plansombl

Description

When a user logs into Blabsy via the eID Wallet, then logs out of the eID Wallet and logs in as a different user, Blabsy does not reflect the new user's session. The previous user (User 1) remains shown as logged in, meaning the new user (User 2) is effectively seeing and potentially acting as User 1.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open the eID Wallet app and log in with User 1
  2. Open Blabsy — it will prompt you to log in with the eID Wallet
  3. Complete the eID Wallet login as User 1
  4. Go back to the eID Wallet app and log out
  5. Log in to the eID Wallet with User 2
  6. Open Blabsy again

Expected Behavior

Blabsy should detect that the eID Wallet session has changed and prompt User 2 to log in, showing User 2's account and data.

Actual Behavior

Blabsy does not prompt for a new login. It continues to display User 1 as the logged-in user, even though the eID Wallet is now authenticated as User 2.

Supporting Media

Blabsy user session not updated after eID Wallet user switch

Desktop

  • Device: Mobile
  • OS:
  • Browser:
  • Version:

Additional Context

This is a session/identity binding issue — Blabsy appears to cache or persist the eID Wallet session locally without re-validating against the currently active wallet identity. This could have security implications if different users share a device.

Blabsy: Switching eID Wallet user does not update logged-in session — previous user remains active #1015

                Description

                @plansombl

                Additional Context

This is a session/identity binding issue — Blabsy appears to cache or persist the eID Wallet session locally without re-validating against the currently active wallet identity. This could have security implications if different users share a device.
