Go Game API - TypeScript

A comprehensive REST API and WebSocket server for a multiplayer games, built with TypeScript, Node.js, Express, and MongoDB.

Installation

  1. Clone the repository

    git clone <repository-url>cd go-game-api
  2. Install dependencies

    npm install
  3. Set up environment variables

    cp env.example .env
    # Edit .env with your configuration
  4. Set up MongoDB

    • Install MongoDB locally or use MongoDB Atlas
    • Update the MONGODB_URI in your .env file
  5. Build the project

    npm run build
  6. Start the server

    # Development mode with hot reload
    npm run dev
    # Production mode
    npm start

Installation

  1. Clone the repository

    git clone <repository-url>cd go-game-api
  2. Install dependencies

    npm install
  3. Set up environment variables

    cp env.example .env
    # Edit .env with your configuration
  4. Set up MongoDB

    • Install MongoDB locally or use MongoDB Atlas
    • Update the MONGODB_URI in your .env file
  5. Build the project

    npm run build
  6. Start the server

    # Development mode with hot reload
    npm run dev
    # Production mode
    npm start

All API responses follow a consistent format:

Authentication

The API uses JWT tokens for authentication. Include the token in the Authorization header:

Go Game API - TypeScript

A comprehensive REST API and WebSocket server for a multiplayer games, built with TypeScript, Node.js, Express, and MongoDB.
