mpc

mpc is a command-line client for the Music Player Daemon.

Installing mpc from source

You need:

• a C99 compliant compiler (e.g. gcc)
• libmpdclient 2.18
• Meson 0.47 and Ninja

Run meson:

meson . output

Compile and install:

ninja -C output
ninja -C output install

Bash-completion

If you want to be able to tab-complete the commands for mpc, you can copy the contents of mpc-bashrc to your own ~/.bashrc.
