When running a hisRead via filter in Alerts receive Error

When I run a hisRead against Skyspark 3.11 in the Alert Rule creation I receive this error [sse.readDataError] [A] got error: input data must be a wide series but got type not (input refid).
The query works in Explorer and Dashboards but doesn't work within Alerting. Any suggestions would be helpful.
Grafana version: v11.3.0 OSS
Haystack Plugin version: v0.0.19

Hey sorry about the delay! I've been able to recreate the error above when the alert query does not result in any data points (typically because the interval is too short, since it defaults to 10 minutes). I'd suggest that you increase the alert query time range by clicking 'Options' and adjusting the time range:

I've gone ahead and tried the Options, as well as hardcoded timeframes in and I get the same error.
Try this eval: readAll(bldgA_monitorNegativeKw).hisRead(today)
I've tried changing the number of points returned and ensured the query returns in Explore. I tried using hisRead with filter and it returned the same error as well.

Try this eval: readAll(bldgA_monitorNegativeKw).hisRead(today)

When doing this eval I get the [sse.readDataError] [A] got error: input data must be a wide series but got type not (input refid) error only if there is no record tagged with bldgA_monitorNegativeKw, or if the record tagged with this tag is not a historized point (i.e. does not have point, his, and hisStart tags). If there is a historized point tagged with this tag, it works for me even if the period includes no historical data values:
