The technical hub of our school club : where every project we build lives.
About • Repositories • Getting Started • Documentation • Contributing
NegruzziHub is the GitHub organization behind our school's tech club. This repository, CentralPoint, is the front door to everything we do here : documentation, standards, templates, and the ground rules that keep our projects consistent no matter who's working on them.
If you're a new member, this is where you start. If you've been around for a while, this is where you come back to when you forget how we name a branch or what our PR checklist looks like.
We're a club first : most of us are still learning, some of us are just curious, and a few of us have been writing code since before we knew what Git was. This repo is meant to make that gap smaller, not to gatekeep anyone out.
The club is managed by a team of student leads and coordinating teachers who oversee project direction, organization infrastructure, and club activities.
This organization currently doesn't have any public project repositories yet : CentralPoint is the first piece, and everything else will be built on top of the standards defined here. As soon as a new repository is created under NegruzziHub, it should link back to this page and follow the conventions in docs/.
New to the club, or just new to NegruzziHub on GitHub? Head straight to docs/onboarding/getting-started.md. It walks through account setup, how we use teams and permissions, and what to do on your first day.
Setting up your machine to actually write code with us? docs/onboarding/dev-environment.md covers the tools we standardize on.
| Section | What you'll find there |
|---|---|
docs/architecture/ | How we structure frontend and backend code, and how we design our databases |
docs/design/ | Our brand assets : logos, colors, and how they should be used |
docs/security/ | Branch protection rules, role definitions, OIDC setup, and what to do if something goes wrong |
docs/onboarding/ | Everything a new member needs on day one |
Starting a new repository under the organization? Copy what you need from templates/ : issue templates, our pull request template, reusable CI workflows, and a starter CODEOWNERS file.
Found something outdated, wrong, or missing in these docs? Read CONTRIBUTING.md before opening a pull request : it's short, we promise.
Please also take a moment to read our CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md. We're a club built on mutual respect, and that applies here just as much as it does in person.
If you've spotted a vulnerability or a security concern anywhere in our organization, don't open a public issue : see SECURITY.md for how to report it responsibly.
This project is released under our own club license : see LICENSE for details. NegruzziHub is a project of the tech club at Colegiul Național "Costache Negruzzi" Iași.
Made with care by the members of NegruzziHub : Colegiul Național "Costache Negruzzi" Iași.
