Summary

  • add a guarded undo workflow for completed v2 apply manifests, including SHA-256 and original-path precondition checks
  • version run manifests with action, completion state, fingerprints, and undo parent linkage
  • prepare the project for packaging with an installable console command, build validation in CI, changelog, and a release checklist

Safety

  • the Stash database remains read-only
  • undo refuses a changed applied destination, a missing destination, or an occupied original source before moving any files
  • only completed v2 apply manifests are eligible for undo; v1 manifests are intentionally not auto-undoable
  • this PR prepares releases only; it creates no tag and publishes no package

Verification

  • .venv/bin/python -m pytest tests/ -v --cov=. --cov-report=term-missing --cov-fail-under=80 (47 passed, 90.80%)
  • .venv/bin/ruff check .
  • .venv/bin/ruff format --check .
  • .venv/bin/mypy .
  • .venv/bin/yamllint .github/workflows/ci.yml
  • .venv/bin/actionlint .github/workflows/ci.yml
  • .venv/bin/python -m build, followed by a fresh-environment wheel install and sqlite-renamer --help

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features

    • Added support for undoing completed rename operations directly from run manifests.
    • Undo validates file hashes and destination availability before making changes, preventing unsafe reversals.
    • Added an installable sqlite-renamer command and pipx installation guidance.
    • Added versioned run records with operation results and verification details.
  • Documentation

    • Expanded guidance for manifests, undo behavior, installation, and release preparation.
  • CI & Packaging

    • Added reproducible package builds and clean-environment CLI verification in CI.

Summary

  • add a guarded undo workflow for completed v2 apply manifests, including SHA-256 and original-path precondition checks
  • version run manifests with action, completion state, fingerprints, and undo parent linkage
  • prepare the project for packaging with an installable console command, build validation in CI, changelog, and a release checklist

Safety

  • the Stash database remains read-only
  • undo refuses a changed applied destination, a missing destination, or an occupied original source before moving any files
  • only completed v2 apply manifests are eligible for undo; v1 manifests are intentionally not auto-undoable
  • this PR prepares releases only; it creates no tag and publishes no package

Verification

  • .venv/bin/python -m pytest tests/ -v --cov=. --cov-report=term-missing --cov-fail-under=80 (47 passed, 90.80%)
  • .venv/bin/ruff check .
  • .venv/bin/ruff format --check .
  • .venv/bin/mypy .
  • .venv/bin/yamllint .github/workflows/ci.yml
  • .venv/bin/actionlint .github/workflows/ci.yml
  • .venv/bin/python -m build, followed by a fresh-environment wheel install and sqlite-renamer --help

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features

    • Added support for undoing completed rename operations directly from run manifests.
    • Undo validates file hashes and destination availability before making changes, preventing unsafe reversals.
    • Added an installable sqlite-renamer command and pipx installation guidance.
    • Added versioned run records with operation results and verification details.
  • Documentation

    • Expanded guidance for manifests, undo behavior, installation, and release preparation.
  • CI & Packaging

    • Added reproducible package builds and clean-environment CLI verification in CI.
