Summary

Hardens the release smoke surfaces so pre-release validation fails loudly, preserves receipts, and handles the local dual-stack races seen while testing v0.8.0.

  • Make FAIL: lines release-gating via shared flow metrics and exit handling.
  • Add automatic Python payment dependency setup and remote-signer chart publication preflight.
  • Add flows/release-smoke.sh as a top-level black-box runner with per-flow logs and a Markdown report.
  • Harden flow-11 dual-stack bootstrap with forced workspace init, retryable stack-up, env-driven port selection, tunnel DNS readiness, and receipt-backed registration/funding/settlement checks.
  • Archive flow artifacts while ignoring generated .build/ and .workspace-* directories.

Notes

The full top-level flows/release-smoke.sh runner was syntax-checked and its critical component surfaces were run individually; I did not rerun the entire aggregate runner after the green flow-11 because it would repeat the already-receipted paid dual-stack flow.

Summary

Hardens the release smoke surfaces so pre-release validation fails loudly, preserves receipts, and handles the local dual-stack races seen while testing v0.8.0.

  • Make FAIL: lines release-gating via shared flow metrics and exit handling.
  • Add automatic Python payment dependency setup and remote-signer chart publication preflight.
  • Add flows/release-smoke.sh as a top-level black-box runner with per-flow logs and a Markdown report.
  • Harden flow-11 dual-stack bootstrap with forced workspace init, retryable stack-up, env-driven port selection, tunnel DNS readiness, and receipt-backed registration/funding/settlement checks.
  • Archive flow artifacts while ignoring generated .build/ and .workspace-* directories.

Validation

  • bash -n flows/*.sh
  • bash -c 'source flows/lib.sh; step strict-fail-check; fail intentional; emit_metrics' exits 1 with steps_failed=1
  • ./flows/flow-01-prerequisites.sh passes, including obol/remote-signer 0.3.1 preflight
  • go test ./cmd/obol -count=1
  • FLOW11_ARTIFACT_DIR=.tmp/flow-11-hardened-20260424-154130 ./flows/flow-11-dual-stack.sh passes with METRIC steps_failed=0

Flow-11 Receipts

Notes

The full top-level flows/release-smoke.sh runner was syntax-checked and its critical component surfaces were run individually; I did not rerun the entire aggregate runner after the green flow-11 because it would repeat the already-receipted paid dual-stack flow.
