Change

  • replace Lua-specific integration-core contracts with language-neutral ScriptBridge, ScriptCatalogBuilder, ScriptDocRenderer, and ScriptToolInvoker boundaries
  • migrate all 600 supplementary provider docs and 3,942 fenced examples to synchronous JavaScript under script-docs
  • regenerate the 591-integration / 41,493-tool catalog with Code Mode fields, effect metadata, return contracts, parameter schemas, and account aliases
  • validate named and positional arguments before dispatch, add ranked repair suggestions, and record effect-aware call outcomes for safe retries
  • add a standalone Laravel 12 monorepo harness whose composer check runs every package test and compiles every JavaScript example against the pinned QuickJS extension
  • align the PostHog convenience facade and regression tests with the current generated operation catalog while retaining readable project_id and environment_id defaults
  • repair exact PSR-4 filename capitalization for LinkedIn, WooCommerce, SendGrid, and PagerDuty so Composer discovery works on case-sensitive filesystems

Coordinated application change: OpenCompanyApp/opencompany#7

Native runtime release: https://github.com/OpenCompanyApp/quickjs-sandbox/releases/tag/v1.0.1

Why

OpenCompany is making a prototype-stage hard cut from Luau to the Rust-backed QuickJS runtime. The shared package describes and dispatches the stable app.* capability surface without owning the scripting engine, workspace authority, credentials, or provider retries.

The standalone test harness removes an accidental dependency on a sibling OpenCompany checkout, so package contributors and GitHub CI exercise the same source and the same native JavaScript compiler directly.

Impact

  • breaking rename from luaDocsPath to scriptDocsPath and from Lua* core symbols to Script*
  • package documentation is JavaScript-only; there is no compatibility runtime or automatic translation
  • host applications must update with the coordinated OpenCompany feat/quickjs PR
  • provider execution, authentication, workspace scope, permissions, and resource limits remain host-owned

Verification

  • standalone composer check: 1,497 tests, 59,867 assertions, and 3,942 compiled JavaScript blocks across 600 docs
  • focused Script runtime suite: 9 tests and 43,955 assertions
  • generated catalog: 591 integrations and 41,493 tools with JavaScript fields and effect/return contracts
  • exact OpenCompany linux/amd64 production image completed Composer discovery across all packages after the capitalization repair
  • GitHub CI installs the checksum-pinned PHP 8.4 NTS QuickJS artifact, validates Composer, runs the entire package suite, and compiles every example
  • PHP syntax, Composer audit, workflow YAML, and git diff checks pass

Change

  • replace Lua-specific integration-core contracts with language-neutral ScriptBridge, ScriptCatalogBuilder, ScriptDocRenderer, and ScriptToolInvoker boundaries
  • migrate all 600 supplementary provider docs and 3,942 fenced examples to synchronous JavaScript under script-docs
  • regenerate the 591-integration / 41,493-tool catalog with Code Mode fields, effect metadata, return contracts, parameter schemas, and account aliases
  • validate named and positional arguments before dispatch, add ranked repair suggestions, and record effect-aware call outcomes for safe retries
  • add a standalone Laravel 12 monorepo harness whose composer check runs every package test and compiles every JavaScript example against the pinned QuickJS extension
  • align the PostHog convenience facade and regression tests with the current generated operation catalog while retaining readable project_id and environment_id defaults
  • repair exact PSR-4 filename capitalization for LinkedIn, WooCommerce, SendGrid, and PagerDuty so Composer discovery works on case-sensitive filesystems

Coordinated application change: OpenCompanyApp/opencompany#7

Native runtime release: https://github.com/OpenCompanyApp/quickjs-sandbox/releases/tag/v1.0.1

Why

OpenCompany is making a prototype-stage hard cut from Luau to the Rust-backed QuickJS runtime. The shared package describes and dispatches the stable app.* capability surface without owning the scripting engine, workspace authority, credentials, or provider retries.

The standalone test harness removes an accidental dependency on a sibling OpenCompany checkout, so package contributors and GitHub CI exercise the same source and the same native JavaScript compiler directly.

Impact

  • breaking rename from luaDocsPath to scriptDocsPath and from Lua* core symbols to Script*
  • package documentation is JavaScript-only; there is no compatibility runtime or automatic translation
  • host applications must update with the coordinated OpenCompany feat/quickjs PR
  • provider execution, authentication, workspace scope, permissions, and resource limits remain host-owned

Verification

  • standalone composer check: 1,497 tests, 59,867 assertions, and 3,942 compiled JavaScript blocks across 600 docs
  • focused Script runtime suite: 9 tests and 43,955 assertions
  • generated catalog: 591 integrations and 41,493 tools with JavaScript fields and effect/return contracts
  • exact OpenCompany linux/amd64 production image completed Composer discovery across all packages after the capitalization repair
  • GitHub CI installs the checksum-pinned PHP 8.4 NTS QuickJS artifact, validates Composer, runs the entire package suite, and compiles every example
  • PHP syntax, Composer audit, workflow YAML, and git diff checks pass
