Summary

  • Add Nape Pro product art and map wired (3434:0440) plus Link-KM (3434:d026, 3434:d029) IDs.
  • Add ?preview=keychron fixture/mode for UI without hardware.
  • Open the Keychron client on activate like other drivers (split from the Moddo branch).

Depends on mouse-protocol PR: OpenMouse-Project/mouse-protocol#4 — includes Nape-specific DPI ceiling of 4000.

Hardware verification

Same Nape Pro unit / firmware as the protocol PR:

  • Link-KM and wired paths both connect, show status, and apply DPI + polling
  • Diagnostics captures retained locally from the verification session

Test plan

  • npm run check with local @openmouse/protocol from the matching protocol branch
  • ?preview=keychron renders the Nape Pro panel and artwork
  • Connect Nape Pro wired — DPI/polling apply
  • Connect via Link-KM — DPI/polling apply
  • Confirm thumbnail appears for both transports
  • Confirm DPI control reaches 4000 after the protocol package update

Made with Cursor

Wire the Nape Pro thumbnail for wired and Link-KM IDs, add a preview fixture, and open the Keychron client on activate like other drivers.
