setup-node v6→v7 is a clean bump for this repo — all three call sites pin an explicit node-version, and none of v7's changes (ESM migration, @actions/cache 5.1.0, removal of the dummy NODE_AUTH_TOKEN export) affect these consumers. The Node 24 OIDC-publish path in release.yaml keeps working.
Note: the check-ok-to-merge FAILURE in the rollup is a stale artifact from a superseded run (29352850345) that was cancelled by concurrency — every one of its needed jobs shows cancelled/skipped. The live run's real matrix, including test-js, has passed.
