🕷 Let's do this one last more time

My name is Parthiv Menon. I was bitten by the development bug back in college, and spent the years since honing my craft as a full-stack developer—fixing production deploy crashes, debugging failing CIs, the never ending spiral of JS and CSS libraries, all of it. Somewhere along the way I got involved in the open source community, which gave me the belief that anyone can be the change the world wants to see. These days, I've stepped into a newer challenge—I work on Platforms and Infrastructure at Google Cloud.

So, what do I do?

  • Programming languages Python • Typescript • PHP • Bash
  • Platforms stack C++ • Protocol Buffers • RPCs • Bunch of proprietary things at Google!
  • AI tools Claude Code • Antigravity • Ollama
  • Frontend stack NextJS • ReactJS • Tailwind • SCSS
  • Backend stack NodeJS • ExpressJS • FastAPI
  • Database (and related) MongoDB • PostgreSQL • SQL • Redis • Prisma
  • Infrastructure Github CI/CD • Vercel • AWS • Terraform
  • Design Figma
  • Other Git • Linux • Web security

I also...

...wrote for The MIT Post from 2019 to 2022
...write poems, stories, and prose in my free time
...love to sketch and dabble with paint whenever I can

Open source

I contribute primarily to Wikimedia projects. Find more about my contributions on my user page User:TheProtonade.

And I love playing around with words

I went to an aquarium once and saw fish fighting for food. It was an underwater coral.

If you need to geek out, let me know

🕷 Let's do this one last more time

My name is Parthiv Menon. I was bitten by the development bug back in college, and spent the years since honing my craft as a full-stack developer—fixing production deploy crashes, debugging failing CIs, the never ending spiral of JS and CSS libraries, all of it. Somewhere along the way I got involved in the open source community, which gave me the belief that anyone can be the change the world wants to see. These days, I've stepped into a newer challenge—I work on Platforms and Infrastructure at Google Cloud.
