Summary

  • make scripts/setup.sh work on PEP 668 systems by creating/reusing a repo-local .venv
  • wire the documented mapping-paper-nomem ablation through the run, collect, and plotting scripts
  • align README/INSTALL with the actual generated filenames and download count
  • ignore .venv/ in git

Verification

  • bash -n scripts/setup.sh
  • bash -n scripts/run_all.sh
  • ./scripts/setup.sh

Notes

This PR only covers the straightforward setup/automation/documentation issues. It does not address the larger experiment failures on some matrices/configurations.
