Summary

  • Add the --coach option to gen-plan argument handling and IO validation.
  • Define mandatory stage quiz checkpoints, category-specific answer handling, coach ledger tracking, and final human acceptance before plan writing.
  • Document coach mode in README, usage docs, and the gen-plan skill, with regression coverage for the new flag and deprecated --learning-mode rejection.

Impact

Coach mode keeps normal plan decision questions separate from comprehension/alignment checks, so planning can pause on design drift, AI design corrections, or background gaps before expanding the next layer.

Validation

  • tests/test-gen-plan.sh (81 passed, 0 failed)
