Goal

Document the safe first Magento/OpenMage-style connector path and testing assumptions.

Suggested files to inspect

• Issue App and connector platform: reviewable integrations without weakening the offline POS core #34
• Issue Ecommerce: write shared product mapping for online stores #81
• Magento public REST API docs

Acceptance criteria

• Docs list expected APIs for products, orders, customers, and inventory.
• Docs call out version differences and unsupported legacy installations.
• Docs include a fixture/mock approach before live network calls.
• Docs say secrets must not be committed or logged.
• The PR links back to App and connector platform: reviewable integrations without weakening the offline POS core #34.

Validation

• Run git diff --check.
• Confirm no real store credentials are committed.

Out of scope

• Implementing the connector.
• Supporting every Magento extension combination.
