The details

Resolves

Fixes#9248
Partially addresses #9061

Proposed Changes

  • Pins @microsoft/api-documenter to v7.22.4 which is the version we last used before the update they made to use html tables. The markdown renderer we use doesn't support rendering markdown inside html tables, so we can't upgrade to v7.24 or later.
  • Restores the patch to the previous version we had that worked for v7.22.4.
  • Installs ajv as a devdependency. I don't think this should be required because it's some problem with the way ajv is specified as an optional dependency somewhere in the chain, but since we can't update these packages we are probably not going to get the fix for it, so just installed it here.
  • Fixes a problem with imports in the gulp file that was introduced in the move from cjs to mjs recently.

Reason for Changes

Need to update reference docs for v12.2.0 release.

Test Coverage

You can view the docs that result from these changes on the staging site. Everything looks good to me.

Partially addresses #9061

Proposed Changes

  • Pins @microsoft/api-documenter to v7.22.4 which is the version we last used before the update they made to use html tables. The markdown renderer we use doesn't support rendering markdown inside html tables, so we can't upgrade to v7.24 or later.
  • Restores the patch to the previous version we had that worked for v7.22.4.
  • Installs ajv as a devdependency. I don't think this should be required because it's some problem with the way ajv is specified as an optional dependency somewhere in the chain, but since we can't update these packages we are probably not going to get the fix for it, so just installed it here.
  • Fixes a problem with imports in the gulp file that was introduced in the move from cjs to mjs recently.

Reason for Changes

Need to update reference docs for v12.2.0 release.

Test Coverage

You can view the docs that result from these changes on the staging site. Everything looks good to me.
