Winter Hardware Wonderland

Kick of the new year with the Hack Club community with a ❄️ Winter of Making 🛠.

RSVP at hackclub.com/winter!

⛷ The rundown

Feb 14th - 23rd: 10 Days of Making

Come together with hundreds of other hackers in the #hardware-party channel on the Hack Club Slack to work on your electronics project. Whether you've never worked with hardware before or you've built CNC machines, there's a place for you. For 10 consecutive days, you'll work on your project while posting daily updates in your own scrapbook.

To help you build your project, Hack Club is offering grants of up to $250 per person! To receive a grant, make a pull request to this repository with your proposal.

🧤 Gear up for submitting your proposal

Guidelines

Make sure your document includes:

  • What you're building (a short description of what your project is about and any relevant information you'd like to include)
  • Plan (what steps you're going to take to build it)
  • Budget (with a list of components or tools needed, where you're going to buy them, and cost in USD; please include taxes and shipping)
👉 📝 Use this template for creating your document!
---name: "@yourGitHubUsername"project: "Your Project Name Here"---# Project Name## Summary

  2. Create a new file with your GitHub username, YOURGITHUBUSERNAME.md, and use the template above to create your project proposal.

💰 What happens after your project is approved?

Once your pull request is accepted and merged, a member of the Hack Club Bank team will reach out to schedule a short 20-minute onboarding call.
