I'm Rico, Applied AI Engineer and full-stack software engineer. I study Molecular Biology & Biotechnology and Computer Science at HKU, fell down the AI agent rabbit hole, and now work in InsurTech.

A lot of my research is about pushing offices toward AI-native workflows, more automation, fewer tabs, less "can you copy that into the spreadsheet." Agents should do the boring bits so people can do the human bits.

On the build side I focus on web development. Side quests: Discord bots and n8n workflows. When I'm not shipping product, I'm digging into edge AI, models that run on the devices normal people already own, not a rack in someone else's basement. The goal is simple: AI that lives on a phone, a laptop, a tiny box on a desk, and doesn't need a PhD to use.
