I'm here to help out the maintainers and am going to investigate this image attachment issue with OpenAI. I'll work on identifying and fixing the problem where images aren't being properly sent to the OpenAI API after the latest update. 🔍

I've successfully identified and fixed the issue! 🎉

The problem was that when openAiLegacyFormat was enabled, the OpenAI handler was converting images to text placeholders like [Image: image/png] instead of preserving the actual image data.

Solution implemented:

• Modified the OpenAI handler to detect when messages contain images
• When images are present, the handler now uses the full OpenAI format to preserve the base64-encoded image data
• Text-only messages still use the simple format when legacy mode is enabled

The fix includes comprehensive tests to ensure image attachments work correctly with the legacy format enabled. All existing tests pass with no regressions.

The CI checks are currently running on the PR. Once they pass, the fix will be ready for review and merge.
