• Audited the repo against every minitest 6 breaking change (from History.rdoc): no assert_equal nil/assert_same nil (now errors — use assert_nil), no minitest/mock (extracted to the separate minitest-mock gem), no spec expectations on Object, no camel-case MiniTest, no test_order/assert_send, no plugin gems relying on the removed autodiscovery. None of the breaking surfaces are in use.
• Dependency resolution: activesupport 8.1.3 allows minitest >= 5.1, so rails as a dev dependency resolves fine; Ruby floor (3.2+) already satisfied by the gemspec and CI matrix.

Forward-looking notes: if Rails-based tests using Minitest::Mock/MethodCallAssertions are added later, the minitest-mock gem will be needed; reporter plugins now require explicit loading (Minitest.load :name). The gitignored local Gemfile.lock still pins 5.27.0 — run bundle install after pulling to re-resolve to 6.x.
