@mpe It would be nice if you could take a look, specially to the "fix" of -D_TASK_CPU flag (7b4583e) -- the bindings were getting re-generated, which in turn triggered a recompilation of everything inside rust/ because KBUILD_CFLAGS changed:

 - To give details on support, add a "Constraints" column to the table.
- To avoid listing all the architectures we support in the quick start,
remove them. Note that this is anyhow explain in the top of the file,
(with a reference to the arch support file).
Take also the chance to explain more explicitly that
`CC=clang` and `LLVM=1` are the way to go.

`LLVM=1` is not supported by the kernel for PPC, so we disable it
(at the moment, it builds, but does not boot).

I think your fix is fine, _TASK_CPU is only used on 32-bit, so it should not matter for now given we're only supporting rust with ppc64le. Possibly we can fix our Makefile to only define it for 32-bit builds.

I guess it does point at a general problem with rust being built as part of prepare0, and asm-offsets also being built by prepare0, it doesn't give arch code any chance to do anything in between. We may hit that again with our stack protector logic for example.

There are off-by-one bugs when configuring RSS hash key and lookup
table, causing out-of-bounds reads to memory [1] and out-of-bounds
writes to device registers.
Before commit 43a3d9b ("i40evf: Allow PF driver to configure RSS"),
the loop upper bounds were:
i <= I40E_VFQF_{HKEY,HLUT}_MAX_INDEX
which is safe since the value is the last valid index.
That commit changed the bounds to:
i <= adapter->rss_{key,lut}_size / 4
where `rss_{key,lut}_size / 4` is the number of dwords, so the last
valid index is `(rss_{key,lut}_size / 4) - 1`. Therefore, using `<=`
accesses one element past the end.
Fix the issues by using `<` instead of `<=`, ensuring we do not exceed
the bounds.

When deleting TC steering flows, iterate only over actual devcom
peers instead of assuming all possible ports exist. This avoids
touching non-existent peers and ensures cleanup is limited to
devices the driver is currently connected to.

In sev_dbg_crypt(), the per-iteration transfer length is bounded by
the source page offset (PAGE_SIZE - s_off) but not by the destination
page offset (PAGE_SIZE - d_off). When d_off > s_off, the encrypt
path (__sev_dbg_encrypt_user) performs a read-modify-write using a
single-page intermediate buffer (dst_tpage):
1. __sev_dbg_decrypt() expands the size to round_up(len + (d_off & 15), 16)
before issuing the PSP command. If len + (d_off & 15) > PAGE_SIZE,
the PSP writes beyond the end of the 4096-byte dst_tpage allocation.
2. The subsequent memcpy()/copy_from_user() into
page_address(dst_tpage) + (d_off & 15) of 'len' bytes overflows
by up to 15 bytes under the same condition.
Trigger example: s_off = 0, d_off = 1, debug.len = PAGE_SIZE -
the PSP is instructed to write round_up(4097, 16) = 4112 bytes to
a 4096-byte buffer.
Fix by also bounding len by (PAGE_SIZE - d_off), the same check that
sev_send_update_data() already performs for its single-page guest
region.
