Summary

Drop-in build tooling migration: `tsup` → `tsdown` (oxc-based, faster, actively maintained).

  • `tsup.config.ts` → `tsdown.config.ts` (defineConfig import swap; option shape unchanged)
  • `package.json`: `tsup` → `tsdown` devDep, build script updated
  • Output extensions shift from `.js`/`.mjs`/`.d.ts` to `.cjs`/`.mjs`/`.d.cts`/`.d.mts` (tsdown defaults). The `exports` map + the `bin` field + the `create-entry-points` script + its spec are updated to match. Subpath imports (e.g. `@smooai/utils/api/hono`) continue to resolve transparently — no consumer-side change needed for callers that don't reference `.js` extensions directly.

Test plan

  • `pnpm install` clean
  • `pnpm build` clean
  • `pnpm typecheck` passes
  • `pnpm test` — all 45 tests pass (4 spec assertions updated for new extension scheme)
  • CI green

Summary
Drop-in build tooling migration: `tsup` → `tsdown` (oxc-based, faster, actively maintained).
  • `tsup.config.ts` → `tsdown.config.ts` (defineConfig import swap; option shape unchanged)
  • `package.json`: `tsup` → `tsdown` devDep, build script updated
  • Output extensions shift from `.js`/`.mjs`/`.d.ts` to `.cjs`/`.mjs`/`.d.cts`/`.d.mts` (tsdown defaults). The `exports` map + the `bin` field + the `create-entry-points` script + its spec are updated to match. Subpath imports (e.g. `@smooai/utils/api/hono`) continue to resolve transparently — no consumer-side change needed for callers that don't reference `.js` extensions directly.
Test plan
  •  `pnpm install` clean
  •  `pnpm build` clean
  •  `pnpm typecheck` passes
  •  `pnpm test` — all 45 tests pass (4 spec assertions updated for new extension scheme)
  •  CI green
